Abe Jones Happy Hour Fundraiser

Timothy’s of Newark, Paper Mill Road, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 15th.  Cost is $30.00 per person and includes light hors d’oeuvres.  There will be a cash bar.  Checks can be made payable to “Friends for Abe Jones”.    Please share this come out in support of one of our own.

• Phone Bank Calling for candidates who DSEA supports- Monday-Thursday Oct.  18-21 and Oct. 25-28 5-7PM Fun, easy, script provided
• All Union Canvass -Oct. 16, 9-12- Literature Drop with DSEA, and other trade Unions. Come to DSEA at 9am for instructions and your map. There will be donuts and coffee. CEA is looking to have 25 people present. Bring your family, including kids, and friends. It is a fun time and definitely healthy.
• Greeter on election day Earl Jaques (Keene and Brader 7-10 am and 3:30-8pm); John Kowolko, and Abe Jones (more information coming).

State Workers United. Oct. 19, 7pm, DSEA Forum regarding issues affecting us such as the probable proposal to tier the Benefit System. Candidates will be giving their views on the issues also. This group is made up of all state worker unions (educational employees, troopers, state employees)     

CEA will give you a $5 WAWA card for volunteering one hour, $10 card for 2 hours and on up.
